Mooiplaas is situated in the Bottelary Ward of Stellenbosch. The farm is owned and managed by the Roos family since 1963. The farm covers an area of 243 ha, of which about 120 ha are under vineyards and 50 ha are a renosterveld conservancy. All wines are grown, made and bottled on the estate. Diverse slopes and soils of the Bottelary Hills give rise to an interesting variety of terroirs, enabling the viticulturist and the winemaker to produce wines of superb quality and character.
